Sorma’s all-round sustainability

Sorma’s concept of sustainability is linked to the development process, where resources, investments and technologies are synergistically focused on enhancing the future. Sustainability is a complex concept that, to be truly understood and correctly applied, must be divided into three guiding pillars: environmental, economic and social sustainability. We operate according to these three guiding principles with the ultimate goal of safeguarding the integrity of the planet and ensuring a better future for generations to come.

Environmental

Our packaging is specially designed following the principle of the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. In addition, all our production processes are completely verticalized and we only use the latest technologies that reduce the use of electricity for the same number of units produced. The group’s goal is to continue to reduce the weight of our packaging and increase the use of renewable energy up to 100 per cent.

Social

We believe in the happiness and passion that is generated when one feels part of a team working towards a common goal, for the good of all. We are consistent with what is promised to team members, and behind the right drive and motivation, we leave room for personal and professional growth. We invest in the local area by sponsoring events, local community initiatives, and research for the fight against cancer, because we believe in collective well-being.

Economic

We guarantee economic stability that contributes to the fulfilment of one’s dreams, passions and personal needs. Our support is demonstrated day in and day out by our commitment to pay every salary and every supplier on time. Furthermore, when deserved, we are happy to recognize financial and other rewards to all members who have contributed to the achievement of their set goals.

Our certifications

Our willingness and transparency in pursuing environmental protection in compliance with health, hygiene and customs regulations is attested by numerous product and process certifications.
