In 1978, France saw the birth of a second company, driven by the need to guarantee a quick, well-organised after-sales service, just like in Italy, in the territory where a great many direct sales were being made too.
In France, the same successful original organisational model was adopted, with management and assistance structures created in the main national production poles, thereby assuring a quick, effective service provided to suit the needs of its customers.
Upon reaching a workforce of 75, Sormaf strategically organised itself into 6 sites: Cavaillon in the region of the South-East, Bressols in the South-West, Cornillé-les-Caves in the region of Val de Loire, Saint-Pol-de-Léon in Brittany, Fère Champenoise in Northern France and Fleurbaix in North. One of our retailers (Corsica Emballages) is also based in Corsica, specialised in cardboard packaging. And to complete the picture, Sormaf Maroc was founded in Agadir and Manip’s Fruits in Cavaillon, both companies specialised in the manufacture of tailor-made equipment.
