In 1991, the fourth associate was established in Spain, in the citrus fruits pole par excellence: Valencia. Sorma Iberica consists of two departments. The first is specialised in the design and construction of the innovative Sormatech optical sorting machines that can classify by internal and external quality, colour, shape, diameter, density and weight. The second covers the entire packaging production process. Spain is effectively Europe’s main fruit and vegetable supplier and this is why it is necessary to be quick and present in situ with the technology necessary to carry out all phases of packaging printing in-house. 

We have: a graphics studio dedicated to pre-printing, 4 flexographic printers, 3 laminating machines, 3 cutters and 5 micro-piercers for flowpack and heat-sealed film. The company has a workforce of 138 employees: 56 specialised in machine production and 82 in packaging production. 

Over time, to ensure we support our customers in all their needs, we have implemented the central site of Valencia with packaging warehouses located in the main production poles, including: Alicante, Almeria, Murcia, Badajoz, and Portugal, together with our Portuguese retailer, “FRUITRONIC”.
